Now I went thru a civil suit a while back, where the plaintiff's attorney took these pages and tried to construe a great many evils about me because of it. So for all you morons, idiots, and yes, even assholes, out there without a clue, here are a few.
The statement that used to be on my home page about the cats and bar not being related? That's what's known as 'hyperbole', it's a joke, okay? (Hence the grin). How an online bar in a VR world could be related to an RL activity dealing with wild animals is way beyond me, hence the joke. Get it?
The picture to the left, is a CHARACTER that I play in an online game. It is a FANTASY. If you cannot separate those two things then you are the one with a problem, not me. The reason I posted that picture is that I am a fan of the artist who did it (who is a professional) and I thought it looked nice.
I do not believe I have special or supernatural powers beyond that of mortal man, okay? Yes I happen to like big cats, yes I like some of the anthropomorphicized pictures of cats and even other animals. However, my abilities with big cats come from years of working with them, not a belief that I am one or can communicate telepathically or any other equally silly belief.
If someone decides to do drugs, and gets themselves injured it's not MY fault, especially if I didn't know about it, and they didn't tell me about it, okay?
Saying that because I can work these animals so well and safely makes it 'deceptively attractive' to others, and therefore makes it my fault for the injuries of others is akin to saying that Airline Pilots and Brain Surgeons should be blamed when someone tries to fly a 747 (Or other aircraft) and crashes it, or do a Brain Surgery on themselves. Lawyers that make such arguments (And Judges that allow it) hopefully have a 'special place' reserved for them in the afterlife, full of wannabe brain surgeons and airline pilots.

It is a very sad statement in the world today when people try to construe all sorts of evil things about you based on a private web page you put up to socialize with players of a game. The fact that I do mention RL stuff on this page is purely because of the social RL friendships I have developed with other players. Now that I have finally made this page slightly more public I am sure that I will face even more problems in the long haul. I don't think many people realise just how many problems a web page can cause you, especially in the hands of an unscrupulous lawyer, neighbor or other person, who may even decide to make 'edits' to their copies of your web pages and then try to pass them off as 'originals' and claim that you 'changed' you page when you show the court what is really there. Remember folks that people can set thier computer date and clocks as easily as you can turn your lights on and off (it's really a lot easier then seting your VCR!), so date stamps on computer files and printouts are no proof of anything at all.
A very disgruntled Banner, who suspects that even this disclaimer may wind him up in court because it surely must offend someone, somewhere in this current day 'Nerf World' we live in.
