I don't think I'll ever have anything of value again in my life, (And I'm not talking material things). The last few months have been pretty bad, the last few years I think I lost a lot of hard earned ground, and to be honest I think it's going to be downhill all the way from this point onward. It gets harder everyday to carry on and no one understands just how difficult it is. To be honest, I've stopped even trying to tell anyone anymore. If only I could find something or someone to turn it around, but so far, nothing.

Just saying hello

Just dropping in again, seems LJ has decided that Censorship is the new fad and ordered me to delete two posts, -or else-. I don't know what the -or else- was, but I declined to find out. So I may be moving back to blogger. I like the friend's list feature of LJ, and the privacy locks you can put on posts. But I dislike their left wing socialist slant on free speech.

It's been a while

Wow, haven't posted to my blog in ages. Over a year actually. I guess that I've pretty much switched to LJ completely now. Maybe I'll delete this or just lock it out one of these days. Unless LJ becomes bad somehow. But for now I'll leave it here, it does cover the time prior to my have an LJ account after all.

The con is okay so far, nothing terrible exciting. Valden's place was like 50 degrees cause they turned all the heat off, so it was cold last nite while we waited for the heat to come up. According to con security Sibe got arrest and dragged off by the police, and otherwise, not too much else has happened.

Dissenters Will Be Punished!

Well that's pretty much the way I've been seeing things, and not from those whom everyone always claims is the guilty party, but from the ones who make the most claims. Namely the 'Left'. Hard to believe isn't it? Because everyone always teaches that it's the 'right' that burns books (but the Nazi's were leftists!), that it's the right that engages in censorship (But the Russian's were leftists), etc, etc, ad naseum.

All I know is what I've seen and experienced. It's always the leftists in any organization, any group, who jump all over everyone else when they dissent, when they disagree, when they dare to have a different opinion. Someone once said to me 'we have all these people getting along, and yet we only have a problem with YOU.'

Well DUH! I was the only one willing to speak up and disagree with the BS being spread. Well now it's possible I was wrong about it being BS, but regardless of whether or not I was, why was I the one being jumped on? If their position was logically or morally superior, why did they resort to harrassment and flames? Why did they go and get others to do the same? Why didn't they explain themselves, and take comfort in their knowledge of rightousness and not act like complete and utter dickwads towards me?

Simple, because they knew I was right and they were wrong, and that they had to silence me at all costs less they become exposed as the fools and idiots (and cowards) that make up the majority of the left these days.
After all, did everyone in the group agree because they've been shown it's right? Or because they drove off or effectively silenced everyone who disagreed? It quickly became apparent that the later was the case.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: 'The Left doesn't want anyone to hear what the Right has to say, and the Right doesn't care what the Left says, they just want the chance to be heard as well.'

This is a rather fundamental and important distinction. The Left silences it's critics. It resorts to harrassment, violence, and when necessary murder. The Right on the other hand just wants a debate, just wants to get it's ideas heard. This is because the Right believes that its ideas are superior and will win out in a fair discussion. The Left on the other hand does not want any debate. Why? Because the Left knows it cannot win such debates! Even those on the left recognize the weakness of their rhetoric.

Really. Look at the champions of the Left these days, do any of them tell the truth? Do any of them care about the truth? Hell no, they're all well known liars and have no problems with lying if it will get them their way. Even their biggest supporters admit that they lie! You always hear the people on the left claim 'They all do it!' whenever anyone brings up lying, and corruption.

Well the facts are, they don't all do it! Unless of course you're solely talking about the Left.

And that is the great divide. Sad but true. None of the ideas or Philosophies of the Left can withstand debate these days. They cannot be defended by facts or truth. So the truth and the facts must be adjusted. This is sad because without open and honest debate we can not move forward. And as long as the people I know and deal with on the Left continue to harrass and assault people for having politically uncorrect ideas (i.e. 'conservative' ideas), then things aren't going to get better. And the Left will continue to be made up of people who are a sad excuse and the best and brightest will end up on the Right.

Eugene / Springfield Oregon, Gee...

Well here I am in Oregon again, I'm working a contract in the Eugene/Springfield area. I do get to go home alternate weekends, but that means I spend way too much time up here, a lot more than I'd like to be. First of all, even though it's a college town, Eugene and Springfield are very boring places. There really isn't much to see or do here. On top of that a good deal of the people here are extremely far to the left of the political spectrum, including at work. So there just isn't much fun to be had here.

I was noticing the other day that I lived in the Portland area for a decade. I have only a couple of people there that I could call friends, two really. Think about what that says about the area, all that time there and I really have no friends there at all. I've been in Sacramento maybe 2 years and have close to a dozen. Yup, Oregon does suck, mainly because of the Oregonians. They're not very friendly people as a rule, well not unless you're one of them.

The writing is progressing, hopefully that will go somewhere, and mostly I just want to be someplace else, which until next weekend I won't be. I'm trying to get them to let me work from home, or someplace closer to home, we'll see. But once I get a bunch of stuff here the way it needs to be for the program I'll probably start looking for a job closer to home. It just sucks so badly to be spending so much time in this boring town.

People Annoy Me

That's right, they do. Constantly. This is why I prefer to live in the country rather than the city or suburbia, and having lived in suburbia the last 2 and a half years you can probably guess I'm at the full level by about now. I think my biggest goal in the last six month has been to try and make apathy a way of life and just try to not care about anything any more. The way I see a lot of people behaving, who should know better, the more I try to not care.

Here's one: I know at times I say things that piss off people I know; friends, aquaintences, etc. Well here's something none of you realize: You piss me off far worse, and far more often than I have ever pissed you off in your entire life. Find that hard to believe? Trust me, it isn't. But you know what? I don't hold it against you, any of you. We all make mistakes we all say dumb things, we all blunder from time to time. I just don't hold it against people. I'm far more accepting of others than they are of me. I'm also one hell of a lot more fair.

When I piss somebody off, about ten percent of the time it's accidental. Those times can be recognized by the fact my apologies are sincere, and I'll repeat them. The rest of the time it's intentional. The apologies for those will usually point out what you did to trigger my behavour, which is always me doing back to you what you just did to me. If you realize it and apologize for your behavour, again my apology will be a sincere one. If not, well my apology grows quickly cold and limp.

I find it consistently annoying (or hysterical, sometimes both simultaneously) that people can get pissed at me when I turn around and do what they just did to me in my very next breath. I mean my very next response to them is what they just did, and they get mad. I should write irony I think sometimes, only most of the world is just too dense to appreciate the finer aspects of irony in life. Sometimes I even point it out to people that I just did this to them (often still using irony, figuring that this person is intelligent and well educated, they should SEE THE IRONY), but rarely do they get it. Usually at that point I give up any attempts to have intelligent conversation for a while.

What's worse is when someone makes a claim, and I'll make an argument against it, and they won't defend their claim, they'll just point to someone/somegroup and say 'well they say it so it must be true' (note there are a lot of idiot people and groups in the world. And getting your phd when you're 20 doesn't prove you're smart, it can just as easily prove you suck good dick). Look, if you can't back up your own claims with your own arguments, then maybe you shouldn't be making those claims. If I make assinine arguments back at you, it's because that's what you deserve because you're being an ass. Refusing to think for yourself is not a good trait. Furthermore if I do take the time to research your referenced source and I make a good argument against them and your response is to ignore it, or to state things that show you have no concept what-so-ever about the subject, (showing you refuse to engage in your own evaluation of the idea), well, don't expect me to really ever engage in a real debate with you, you're not smart enough for me to waste my time on.

Several people will read that preceding paragraph and think I'm talking to them. I am. Realize however that I'm not talking about just one person. I'm talking about quite a few.

I don't argue subjects like I used to, at leat not often, because so many people are so willing to ignore the facts, history, reality, and say things that prove it. Part of it is because they're young I suspect. Part of it is because they're just ingorant and have no desire to learn. I constantly hear people say things that I know are not true, because I lived through them. Once I would try to point out to these folks their wanton ignorance or stupidity. These days I just mostly ignore it. There are way too many people who actually make a living these days by publishing lies and propaganda, and who then get all sorts of awards and are held up as some kind of genius. The fact that most of what they write is flat out fiction about real world events (and they then avoid lawsuits by claiming to write satire or parody - both of which are admissions that they write fiction) is completely ignored.

So much for the vaulted ability for critical thought.

Then there are the yellers and the screamers. Who think if they yell long enough and loud enough, and drown out all other viewpoints and arguments, that they will be right. Socialists, Marxists, and Deomcrats do this. All people who belong to failed political ideals and experiments. They won't admit they're supporting a lie, because then they'd have to get real jobs and work for a living. So rather than dumping a failed ideology, and perhaps moving on to something that might actually work, they just scream their fool heads off, not realizing that in their dream world, the masters now will still be the masters. Only now they'll have the right to cull the herds of those loudmouths who won't work for a living.

Communism has always been it's own reward to communists you know. But hey, whats a hundred million dead in the last hundred years between socialists anyways, right?

So yes, people annoy me. And living here in cal for the last few years I've come to realize just what a hell on earth so many of these people have made for us to live in, and then they just blame everyone else for it. And if someone comes along and tries to fix it, well circle the wagons annie the injuns has arrived! Anyone trying to reverse the polcies and rules that got us here is now the enemy because dammit that's my pickle you're trying to take away! Even though I got that pickle from the guberment man who stole it from me in ways I'm too damn stupid to see in da first place!

Oh yeah, gotta love the people out here. And I'm sure those of you reading this (if there are any of you, I don't advertise this blog or make any effort to push it) are all upset by the things I say. I doubt those of you the maddest will focus your anger where it belongs, on yourselves. No, you'll just blame me. It's easier that way.

You know, I don't hold people up to a high standard, I only hold them to the same standard I hold myself, and that one's pretty low. But I'm consistantly amazed by the number of folks who can't even meet that, and it's solely due to a lack of trying. I also don't look at other people and hold them higher than myself. Almost no one, not a soul, in all of history, do I really hold to be a greater man than myself really. Oh there are a few exceptions, (emphasis on the word 'few'), there are some people I look at and admire for their willingness to do things that I would not have been as willing to do, but for the most part I know that we're all human, we all have our faults, and that we all have our 'clay bits' be they feet or be they something else. And I don't fault these people, or any other, for those bits of clay, because we're all human and we all have them. It's how you deal with it that counts. Live it with style and maybe I'll even applaud, make me want to 'leave the room' when you walk in and I'll boo (and you'll deserve it). But if your only goal in life is to sink to the bottom of the pot, well don't expect me to care or stand in your way.

Is it Just me?

I've noticed a trend, and commented on it, and gotten a negative reaction from people who should know better. Everytime some 'big' political commentator, or 'social therorist' on the left goes on about things, and states as facts a number of things that are factually untrue, no one makes a big deal about it. But if someone on the right makes this mistake, they get taken to task immediately.

I find it hard to take some of the big people on the left at all seriously when they continually make these kinds of mistakes. And I have my opinions of people who are supposed to know better, diminished when they ignore the issues and continue to claim how wonderful and great these people are. Or worse yet, they make excuses for these people.

Then there are the 'what if's' these pundits set up to prove or sound out their latest theory. (Nevermind that much of what they're trying to defend they ignored in the past when it was going their way). They set up things that if you had studied history, you know ACTUALLY HAPPENED! Or the REVERSE of it happened! But they ignore all of that, blissfully unaware.

All this leads me to feel that these people are idiots. And if so much of what they are citing is wrong, then it only goes to follow that their results are wrong too. It's probably why I can't reach drowkin or hitchens or chomsky. So much of what they write is based on obvious drek, that it's worthless to finish what they're saying. If the inputs are bad, so are the outputs; Garbage in, Garbage out. Theory is like that, however none of these people apparently (or their followers) understand that.

What I also find amusing is that one of the big guys on the left is like a zoo keeper, none of them ding him on that however. But I read this big article by a guy who writes Science Fiction refuting some people's claims. What did everyone (on the left) do? They said he writes fiction, so his opinion is worthless. Well shouldn't the same be said of the zoo keeper guy then?

Annoying

I'm really annoyed by all the anti-American American's in this country. They really obviously hate this country, and everytime you do anything that calls their patriotism into question they start to scream. Well I got news for you, criticism isn't patriotism, and you're not patriots. Most liberals these days hate this country and are actively working to destroy it. Groups like the Ford Foundation, the ACLU, the green party, the current DNC and most democrates (sadly) want nothing more than to destroy all that America is.

Bush hasn't done one tenth of the stuff everyone is accusing him of. On the other hand news of the treasonistic behavour of the Democratic party leadership is quashed or ignored. News of everything good from Iraq is quashed. And everytime the left gets proved wrong about anything on Iraq it is quietly dropped and they move on to attacking a new topic. (After having been wrong on EVERY claim they have made, you'd think the newsmedia would stop giving them all this coverage, but sadly most of the newsmedia is on their side). And then there are the memo's that have been released, from everything on how the deomcrats were going to try and sabotage the economy to try and cost Bush the election, as to how they were going to fly in the face of facts that only they had (because they were national security secrets) and distort the truth to try and attack the president.

Then there is the filibustering of the Judges, something that has NEVER been done in the history of the US before! But you don't hear about that on the news, they keep lying on that front too.

So I have to ask, are all liberals lying scum? If not why do they keep electing lying scum to represent their party? Not Everyone does do it! Few people do, except these days on the left where apparently everyone does it. I have found in my life, and looking back thru history that whatever the left accuses the right of, the right doesn't do it, but the left does it constantly: Burning books, character assassination, killing opponents, beating opponents, terrorism, you name it.

Blah.

Been a while..

Well it's been a while since I posted to this blog, mainly I've been posting to livejournal, which is mainly because it's easier. The nice thing about this forum however is that I don't have to deal with a lot of replies. And that can be really nice when you consider there are some really stupid people out there.

One of the really funny things right now is that the war is pretty much over, and yes we won. But the left is continually going after Bush on all sorts of different things related to the war. They'll pick something, harp on it, and then it will be proven that they were wrong and Bush was right (The press, which is left, doesn't print that though, you have to look around to find out the truth. But you suddenly notice that the left isn't harping on that issue anymore). Anyway, so then they go onto the next issue, and the whole thing happens again.

The funniest part is that so many of the left are by default defending Saddam. Yup, real humanitarian there. Just like Bin Laden (who is still dead).

So, I bought a truck, (used) bought a bike (new) and sold my katanna. Was working a contract until just last week, so I'm looking for a new one new. That's pretty much it.

Lying Communists and other Idiots

Just was going over the stuff from the supposed peace protests this last weekend. 'Supposed' because they were anything but. They were anti-American, anti-Capitalist, pro-communism, pro-terrorist, pro-dictator, and anti-humanrights protests. I mean looked who ran and funded them, every communist party around, and every far left radical cause. Look at what these people were saying 'I support Saddam Hussain and his oppression and torture of hundreds of thousand of innocent people'.

One dumb gal got up there and was going on about how 'we're not free' in the USA. Funny, I didn't see the secret police hauling her off, torturing her, murdering her, and mailing her disfigured remains back to her family (unlike in every islamic country, most asian countries, and most african countries). How do people tell these lies? And Worse yet, how do so many moron's listen to them? I don't even want to get into the Radical Islamic guy who got up there and started chanting the same thing islamic fanatics chant just before they murder innocent people of other faiths and beliefs, or rape and abuse women, or kill gays. He's the kind of twit I want to see deported!

And I feel the same about anyone else who believes this BullShit. You shouldn't be here, you should go someplace where your actions will have you tortured to death in the most grizily and sadistic manners known to mankind. Cause that's what you asses are supporting.
